One-to-one Calligraphy Workshop

Book a 1-2-1 workshop to learn modern calligraphy from scratch,  using skills you learn in your class to write place name cards,  invitations or even sell your skills to others!  

Usually across four hours, the workshop includes: 

• Warm up techniques

• Nib holder care & correct handling

• Alphabet breakdown 

• Writing on place name cards

• Decorating envelopes

• Envelope writing 

• Printing tips and tricks 

• Where to purchase the best inks. 

  However, if you have a special project in mind, we can adjust the workshop to suit.

Each workshop includes tea/coffee and a slice of cake of your choice (you’ll need the energy!) and are usually hosted at Perry Court Farm Canterbury Road TN254JA however home visits are also possible within reasonable distance. 

The workshop includes a nib, nib holder, ink, practice materials and workbook, all of which you can take home with you.
