Logo Design

Client: Nib & Nectar

Sector: Flower & Craft

Brief: Create a logo suite and summarised brand guidelines for a business straddling two fields: flower growing and calligraphy workshops

Solution: A key objective of this brief was to create a logo that could sit comfortably across both industries without leaning too heavily into one. This was achieved through the use of a singular, versatile drop motif - open to interpretation as a drop of nectar from a flower or a drop of ink drawn from the tip of a calligraphy nib. This dual meaning allows the mark to subtly reference both practices while remaining refined and uncluttered. When paired with an earthy, muted colour palette and rich, tactile photography, the identity feels grounded and considered, appealing to like-minded floral and craft enthusiasts. At the same time, the brand confidently differentiates itself from more conventional flower and calligraphy logos, which often rely on overt botanical symbols or expressive script typography, instead opting for a modern, understated approach that cuts through the visual noise.
